Homework: December 2 Tuesday

Dear Parents,

We had a wonderful day today. Everyone was very well behaved and we played an exciting game of dodge ball. It was great to see all the kids healthy and happy! It must have been a great Thanksgiving. Christmas is right around the corner and there are many things to put on your calendar. The first event is a field trip one week from Wednesday on December 10th. I will be teaming up with Mrs. Turhune's class. Check your homefolder/email for information.

Math: Finish Lesson 38B. Work with your child on counting coins. Make sure you use pennies, nickels, and dimes. No quarters please. Put some coins in a cup and have them “buy” items in your house.

Phonics: We read a story today for phonics. Kindergarten read about the Pilgrims and 1st grade read about St. Brendan. The 1st grade worksheet goes with the story and Kindergarten is learning about the letter O. Complete worksheet 66.

Bible: We are learning a Christmas carol for Advent. The carol is “Away in a Manger” and is found in your child’s home folder. Make sure they can sing stanza one and two.
