Home Work: November 6 Thursday

Dear Parents:

We had smashing good time today eating pumpkin breads, seeds, and pies. I shall soon post pictures on the blog. Thank you for making all the wonderful treats. They were yummy! Here is the homework for Thursday, November 5.

Math: There is no new math lesson for kindergarten and first grade. We took a test. Please review the test with your child and help them with any mistakes.

Phonics: Kindergarten is on lesson 54. Read the story Bad Meg and complete the worksheets. First grade is learning the EE and EA partnership. This is a new concept but very similar to the AI and AY. Complete 54A/B

Bible: Rehearse Westminster Shorter Catechism 1-7. Work on Matthew 5:1-10.

Poetry: Review Autumn by Emily Dickinson

History: Continue to practice the History Sound Off. Everyone went through their first part today. Reinforce that and begin to work on their next part.

Science: Attached in the email are two documents that go with the "pumpkin maze" that I included in your folder. Sorry, I couldn't get them to print on my printer. Go over the pumpkin cycle and complete the maze and worksheet.
