Homework: November 18 Tuesday

Hello and good evening.  Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then we'll be skating into Christmas.  We had a wonderful day at school.  Kindergarten made Indian feather hats and First Grade swept through Math.  We all had fun playing soccer.  Here is the homework for tomorrow.

Math: Both Kindergarten and First Grade need to complete 34B. It is located on the backside of their math worksheet.

Phonics: Kindergarten and First Grade is on lesson 60. Read the lesson in Phonics and complete the following worksheets.

Bible: Rehearse Westminster Shorter Catechism 1-8 for 1st and Children's Catechism 1-22 for Kindergarten. Work on Matthew 5:1-11.

Poetry: Review Autumn by Emily Dickinson

History: We have started learning about Benjamin Franklin. Today we colored the title page for a book on Benjamin’s aphorisms. Do the next part of the book, which is the Almanac of Wisdom and Ben’s Sayings.

Science: I preparation for Thanksgiving we colored a turkey fact sheet. Complete the “Turkey Trivia” and go over the answers with your child. They should be able to answer most of them.
