The Open House was quite a success. Special thanks goes to Carson, Katrina, Cece, Rick, and Kristen, for their unwavering help and support. Ya'll really rock! Here is the homework for tomorrow.
Math: Today we took a test. I will be grading tomorrow so look for it in your home folders on Friday. Kindergarten and 1st complete worksheet 35A/B. 1st Grade has an additional "Mad Minute" addition sheet.
Phonics: Kindergarten must complete 62A/B. 1st Grade has 62A/B/C. Pay close attention to the spelling words on "C" and review them with your child.
Bible: Review Matthew 5:1-11. Kindergarten is working on Children's Catechism questions 1-23. First Grade is memorizing Westminster Shorter Catechism 1-7.
Science: There are two turkey worksheets. First, go over the "Tom Turkey" information sheet with your child. Second create a turkey acrostic poem. The information from "Tom Turkey" will help to create a poem.
History: We're filling up our book on Benjamin Franklin. Today we completed three pages on lightning, the lightning rod, and bifocals. There are two more pages on the glass harmonica and swim fins. Make sure all the pages go in your book.
