Homework: November 11 Tuesday

Dear Parents,

I sent home the field trip permission slips today. They are in your child's home folder. Please return the slips along with $4 on Wednesday. If any parent can drive, please contact me via email. Here is the homework for tomorrow.

Math: Kindergarten is working on 32B and First Grade needs to complete 32B. They are in the home folder.

Phonics: Kindergarten is learning about the short "i". Please complete 57A/B in your folder. First Grade is learning about OA/OW/OE as the long "O". Please complete 57A/B.

Bible: Continue to memorize Westminster Shorter Catechism 1-7 and Matthew 5:1-10. The entire class will be reciting Matthew 5:1-10 for grandparents day this Wednesday.

Poetry: Memorize "Autumn" by Emily Dickinson.

History: I introduced Benjamin Franklin to the class and read a children's story about him. Please work with your child on the history sound off. They should have their parts memorized on the first page.

Geography: The children are learning about the continents. If you have a map at home or globe, review the seven continents with them--North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica.
